Guest Speaker:  Landscape Architect, Sarah Small

When designing a garden:

1.      Make an adjective list describing the garden you want.

The garden planning process should consider:

2.      the inclusion of form, texture, color

3.      the garden to be an extension of the home or another room in your home

4.      the adjacent propery

5.      the inclusion of plants, hardscape, fragrance, light, shadow and repetition
